Description

The not quite so long awaited ninth addition to my "photo-realistic but not as good as some other people's photorealistic pokemon because I pretty much suck" series (seriously, I just put Cranidos up like five minutes ago), Diglett. I think he came out exceptionally well, especially considering just how basic and simplistic diglett's cartoony design is. He is in fact a mole/gopher type thing, and I that I managed to get that in there, while still being able to maintain his simple appearance.

Not sure who I'm doing next, but I'm on a roll lately, so it will probably be up soon after I decide.

Until then...

Diglett is Nintendo/Gamefreak's.

Pokemon are Nintendo/Gamefreak's.

The theoretical ideas? All mine. :-)

:pokeball: No 50 - Diglett

"Diglett are very social creatures. They usually live with others of their kind, and they together carve elaborate cave systems where they make their collective homes."

"Many farmers employ teams of digletts for one simple reason; Digletts' tunneling leaves a trail of perfectly tilled soil in its wake. So, they have a team line up at one end of a a field, and proceed across, so the farmers can sow their seeds without needing to use plows."

"Because diglett spend most of their lives under the earth, their eyes are poorly adapted to direct sunlight. They usually maintain a high dilation so they can navigate underground, but in the bright sunlight, a diglett may have trouble seeing."

"Diglett's forelimbs are powerfully built for its size. Its sharp claws have been known to bore through earth, stone, and even some metal!"

"Diglett's hind legs are poorly adapted for digging, but they aid in pushing diglett along their extravagant networks of tunnels."

"Diglett never leave the ground of their own volition. This has lead to a common misconception—that they do not, in fact, have legs. Of course, they do. Though resistant, scientists have been able to remove some diglett from the earth, revealing their form."

It's a nice conception. But how do you make Dugtrio then ?
